University of Gloucestershire, BSc (Hons) Forensic Computing
Immerse yourself in all aspects of forensic computing, gaining essential skills in data recovery and programming right from your first year. You'll also cover information technology law and ethical hacking, learning the foundations of cracking as well as data gathering. You will work to the Association of Chief Police Officers high standards. These standards lead development of policing practices, better preparing you for the world of employment. Use industry-standard software including XRY, which analyses and recovers information from mobile devices, and EnCase, the global standard in digital investigation technology. For your final group project, you'll take equipment apart, gather evidence and present it as an expert witness in our simulated court room to practising lawyers. As well as being taught by staff with industry experience, you'll hear from inspirational guest speakers.
