This course will introduce you to the basics of IT security, including legal and ethical issues, virus control, phishing, social networking, version control, malware/ spyware, penetration testing and more, all of which are highly relevant and important to today’s businesses and society. You will also be introduced to computer forensic processes and learn to use computer forensic tools and techniques imperative in the capture and maintenance of digital evidence. Fundamental to this course is the understanding of computer systems and the broader computing field.
