This role will require the candidate to be familiar with identifying vulnerabilities in an existing system, relying heavily on their risk management skills to do so, while then being able to further this by applying their knowledge of threat prevention and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to ensure protection. The candidate will also need to be able to have a clear knowledge of security policy and compliance, allowing them to then practice detecting any violations using log management platforms such as SIEM.
